Kenney Visiting at Detroit DETROIT, Mich., May 30. Charles Kenney, who formerly managed E. E. Dale Shaffers Coldstream Stud before that thoroughbred establishment was sold, came up from Lexington, Ky., for the Memorial Day and Saturday racing. Kenney presently is master of Springside Farm, which is located on the Versailles Pike near Lexington. Johns Joy, who carried John Kinards silks to several important stakes victories, is standing at Springside and Kenney reports that the son of Bull Dog and My Auntie is filling a full book in his first season at stud.
