Red Speeds Price 5,000 HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 30. Trainer Monte Parke reported the selling price for the two-year-old colt Red Speed sold to B. W. Landy of Chicago, was 5,000. The youngster won the first start of his career here on opening day. Vic Heerman accompanies the son of Count Speed Smart Daughter to Hawthorne. Red Speed is the third two-year-old the Hertz stable has sold out of the , several in Count Speeds first crop of foals, the others being Speedy Ace, to Harry Cur-land for 5,000, and Atomic Speed to Russ and Brunk for 7,500.
