Jeffordses Injured in Auto Accident in Media, Pa. MEDIA,. Pa., June 27. Walter M. Jeffords, 66, millionaire sportsman, and his wife, Sarah, 65, were injured last night when their automobile crashed into a disabled truck on Route 1. Jeffords was treated for cuts on the face in Chester , Hospital. Mrs. Jeffords was treated for bruises of the back and arms. Botli were taken "to their home, "Hunting Hill," Glen Riddle, Pa., in the Media Fire Co. ambulance. Bernard Green, 67, of Glen Riddle, chauffeur for the Jeffords, was uninjured when the right side of the auto struck the truck, as he sought to avoid the collision. The truck was halted on the eastbound side of the highway because of motor trouble.
