Eagle Look Ready to Race NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 27. Eagle Look, a seven-year-old son of Whirlaway, owned by Howard Wells, will finally get to the races next week at Gansett after a long, long absence from the racing scene. Highly regarded as a three-year-old, but unfortunate to be of the same vintage year as Citation, Eagle Look won his share of races in 1948, but then embarked upon a series of accidents that took little short of a miracle to survive. Thoroughly fit to race last season he ran a nail into his hoof and the resultant infection nearly cost him his life. Trainer Bud Greeley has his fingers crossed for next weeks contest. j
