JAMMU was rated close to the early leaders for the first half mile, then responded when called upon to forge to the front an eighth out and increased his advantage thereafter. ETERNAL SAM was ated mildly in the initial stages and finished with good courage. NON FJERRO also closed with determination. BELCON dropped back to last place several lengths removed in the first half mile, then came strongly through the stretch. THAT AINT HAY lacked speed and was never a contender. MISS DEDUCTIVE, off alertly, was with the pacemakers from the start, then took a short lead after straightening out in the stretch, but was forced to the limit in the closing stride to hold OBSTINATE SI. The latter was saved within striking distance to the last furlong, then came steadily and just failed to get up. 3U0NGI0RN0 moved up to find an opening on the inside around the far turn and challenged for the leadership at the stretch head, but was not good enough. FOXY POISE was rated carefully in the early running and, moving up nearing the last obstacle, took command, cleared it and drew out easily. STORM HOUR went to the front when ready after clearing the ninth, but was unable to resist the winner. MOOT was a strong contender in the early stages, but weakened in the last furlong. JARRIN JOHN, while never a threat, went evenly. PRAIRIE IMP lacked much speed on the flat. RENDEZVOUS weakened after reaching a contending position. PAGE COUNTY set the early pace, but quit badly and vas eased near the end. TAGNALL quit badly and was also eased. PERT was away slowly and was far back all the way. PANACHE was off quickly from an inside post position and, although -meeting with several challenges from HOOP HAVEN, held the latter through the stretch and vas drawing out at the end. HOOP HAVEN pressed PANACHE while racing on the outside of the latter, but was unable to get to the front and seemed to falter near the end. HARDHACK was required to race wide to reach contention and was- well out from the rail in the stretch drive and failed to menace the first two. SHOW RING weakened in the stretch. GEORGIA G. was closest to the pace of IAMAJEWEL until the latter began to show signs of weakness, then went to the front after entering the stretch and, withstanding a mild bid from ALOfJZO B., was going away at the end. ALONZO B., always well up, saved ground in the stretch and continued on the inside; but was not good enough. ROSEMERE CHICK responded well when put to the test. SCOTSTOUN made up some, ground in the late stages. DOCTORS DANDY was never a serious contender in a very ordinary effort. COUSIN CLARA was unable to keep up under punishment. IAMAJEWEL quit badly. MONTAYR was never too far away and, moving up on the inside for the stretch run, took a short lead an eighth out and then pulled away gradually to win in handy fashion. RARE BID was always a good contender, although racing wide and displaying a fair degree of gameness in the stretch run. BRUISER took command early and contested the issue stubbornly to the last sixteenth, where he gave way. IMPULSIVE SAM made up ground and was going strongly at the finish. RUSTY BROWN was: in close quarters in the stretch. FEUDIN FIGHTIN was unable to keep up. JUST EIGHT had some early speed. FINE FETTLE was forced to ease back early and was never a contender. ISOMUR was rated off the early pace and, making a nicely timed move on the outside after entering the stretch, passed HEUTEL to win going away. SEA RIPPLE was in close quarters while attempting to-get through an opening entering the last sixteenth, then came to the outside to get up to be second in the last stride. HEUTEL was a good contender from the start and held on fairly well after being headed. PLUNGER dropped far out of it in the first quarter, then closed a gap while racing on the inside.
