Illinois Notes FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, B1., June 27. v Trainer T. Swigert arrived from Chicago over the week-end with eight horses. In the Swigert stable were such horses as Roman Road, Mr. Dighton and Irish Wash. P. H. Scroggins checked in from Chicago with the three horses Lil Doll, John Guess and Segala. Scroggins trains his own stable. Trainer Peter Valenti brought the horses Davids Pebble, Joes Star and Caillou Rouge from Chicago. Frank Gilbert, a Phoenix, Ariz, rancher, and owner of a large stable racing here, presented his new bride of a few days.with six horses from his stable. His wife.doria, took her pick of the stable, which included Safety Valve, Old Date, Hen Sprig, Verde Chieftain, Gay Trooper and Franzel. The stable will race under the name of Gloria Gilbert, and wilPcontinue to be trained by the former rodeo rider, G. N. Roberts. A new arrival is the stable of H. Murphy with Feffie and Brisque.
