Power Failure Delays Race , ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, June 27. The rains and thunder storm which has been promised by the weatherman for well over a week, finally arrived yesterday before the running of the seventh and feature race, the Hamilton Along with the rains came another problem in the form of an electric power line failure and the eighth and final affair was run without benefit of the "tote" board, or any other of the apparatus electrically operated at the plant. Scheduled as" a 6:54 post, there was a 20-minute delay in determining whether the race should be called off, and it was finally decided that it should be run.
