Myrtlewood and Modesty Nominations Close Today ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, III., June 27. Racing secretary Ivan Thomas, of Arlington Park, has reminded horsemen that entries close tomorrow Saturday for the - 0,000 Myrtlewood Handicap and the 0,000 added Modesty Handicap. The Myrtlewood, scheduled at six furlongs for three-year-olds and upward, will be run Wednesday, July 9. The Modesty, richest filly-and-mare stake on the Arlington schedule, is on deck for Wednesday, July 16, and is for three-year-olds and upward at one mile.
