Chambers Ready to Pitch ST. LOUIS, Mb., June 27 UP. The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that pitcher Cliff Chambers has been returned to the active list. The southpaw had been out of action since May 28 with a broken bone in his left wrist. He was struck by a batted ball on May 25. A Cardinal spokesman said that Chambers, who had a 4-2 record at the time he was injured, would probably see action in the Redbirds series with Pittsburgh, July 5-6.
