Off Track Again at Suffolk; Two Sprints Featured Today SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 5. — The good weather, appreciated up this way yesterday, failed to last and once again we are back in the routine of checking for mud runners. Today heavy rain is a cinch to keep the track in an "off condition for the next couple of days. Tomorrow, Suffolk Downs will offer a pair of six-furlong allowance tests, each endowed with a ,000 purse. The seventh race has been named the Reading Purse and is styled exclusively for three-year-olds, while the eighth event on the mid-week program is for four-year-olds and upward, named the Stoneham. "Eb" , Pons, who is the racing secretary at Suffolk and also Rockingham Park, probably chose the names for his co-features, recalling driving through adjoining towns en route from here to Rockingham Park. In the Reading, C. H. Everitts Supremes Bub will attempt to tote top weight of 119 pound! and make it two straight triumphs I at the East Boston oval. The son of Sir Gallahad III. or Johnstown from the Su-premus mare, Supreme Way, should enjoy the soft footing. Plenty of opposition ap- ! pears in the line-up of the sophomore I event. R. Nardinis Hokey Pokey, Henry I Forrests Triumphant. Mrs. J. M. Bran-hams Four Night, Broom Stables Broom-maker, C. B. Carters Battle Day and W. L.
