Caldwell Has Cold in Eye SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass.. May 5. — Trainer Taters Whatley, who handles the very consistent Caldwell, winner in seven of his last eight races photoed out of the other, revealed yesterday that Caldwell was scratched out of Saturdays race because of a cold which settled in his eye. Caldwell is expected to be ready to seek his fifth straight in the very near future.
