1,107 Horses at Suffolk SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston. Mass-May 5. — A check of the stable area at Suffolk Downs reveals that the barn area is bulging with 1,107 horses. With a break in weather and the return of a fast track many of the thoroughbreds will make their first appearance of the meeting.
