Forty-One Riders Registered For River Downs Meeting RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 3. Apprentice William Hubbard, one of the more active "bug" boys at Fort Miami and Beulah Park, will ply his trade at this meeting. Hubbard, who will lose his bug on June 16, engaged the services of Charles "Granny" Granneman as his agent the last week at the recently concluded Beulah Park .meeting In all, George Bulcroft, the jockey room custodian, registered 41 riders up to mid-afternoon here today. George reports that he expects one of the largest contingents of riders ever to assemble at this meeting and has word from several riders, both in the East and West, that they will be on hand for next weeks racing. At present, there are but four apprentice riders on the grounds, including Hubbard. The others are Donald Baldwin, who broke his maiden on May 18 this year; R. Cas-sidy, who has until next May 9 to fulfill a year of riding after piloting his first winner, and W. C. Hasher will wind up a year of .being an; apprentice rder on August 14,
