War Tune, sporting the colors of Mr and Mrs. John Bromleys Cedar Farm, won a game stretch duel with Mrs. Dorothy N. Lees Belmont Breeze to capture the featured Talleyville Purse here today. The three-year-old Warlock Our Tune colt was a nose to the good at the finish and returned 0.20 for the victory. Bohemia Stables favored Kopes Baby ran third, three parts of a length behind Belmont Breeze. War Tune, who boasts Mahmoud bloodlines, has been to the wars 11 times this season and has seven in-the-money races to his credit. He covered the six furlongs in 1:11 under the canny guidance of Jack Westrope. Astride Sets Strong Pace Astute was the early leader and set a strong pace down the backstretch, accompanied by Level Rippey, the speedy daughter of Rippey.
