Earl Gross Injured in Fall ROCKINGHAM PARK, Salem, N. H., June 10. Jockey Earl Gross suffered severe shock and possible muscle pull when tossed from Greek Stadium following the running of the ninth race at Rockingham Park on Wednesday. The veteran rider had driven the gelding to victory and, after pulling up, had turned and was about to come back to the winners circle when Greek Stadium bobbled and tossed him heavily. He was immediately removed to Bon Secour Hospital in Methuen where he will be kept under observation for at least 24 hours.
