Monmouth Gets Out Brochure OCEANPORT, N. J., June 10. Monmouth Park again has issued a. brochure on the history of New Jersey racing and the role played by the track in the development of the sport. All-encompassing in scope, well written and with brilliant art layouts, the brochure was prepared under the direction of G. Barker Seeley, new publicity chief at Monmouth. Highlighting the 128-page brochure is a series of 12 full color reproductions of New Jersey racing, stars before the turn of the century and scenes of famous contests at the old Monmouth Park. The brochure traces the growth of the sport in New Jersey from the old Monmouth Park, center of racing in the United States from 1870 to 1893, and the continuation of those traditions by the present Monmouth Park Jockey Club at the modern plant at Oceanport.
