Bumper Crop at Detroit For Wolverine Engagement DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia,-Mich., June 10. Trainer Bobby Curran reported today that H. C. Fruehaufs Bumper Crop, a four-year-old colt, the get of Rico Monte and Early Harvest, arrived today from Chicago. Bumper Crop is scheduled to start here Saturday in the nine-furlongs Wolverine Handicap and he has been assigned 110 pounds for the 0,000 middle distance stake. Curran also expressed satisfaction with the performance of the three-year-old filly, Jimminetty, a daughter of Jimmie and Wickliffe Gal, who won her third straight purse here yesterday, downing a fair band of second-year racers in a one mile overnight event. Jimminetty and Some Friend are the only "three time winners" thus far at the current Detroit Race Course meeting.
