TOLD BEFORE moved through to wrest command soon after the start and then drew clear as if much the best i nthe final sixteenth. FANCY-DEB dropped back on the turns and then wore down BLUE TOLEDO for the place. The latter joined the pace entering the stretch and then lacked a further rally. GREAT PROPHET tired. MR. BENNIE showed an even effort. MISS M. D. lacked her usual early speed and tired after three furlongs. LACUNA gained the lead at once, drifted out through the stretch, but was drawing clear on her opposition and won under mild urging. BRAVO made a menacing bid while on the final turn, looming the most dangerous, suddenly dropped back and raced evenly thereafter. Bowcuts claim of foul against the winner for interference on the final turn was not allowed. HOWDY HOWDY had speed in spots, but lacked a rally. WILD TEDDY was never a serious contender. FRAME WORK showed nothing. LADY CROSS forced the early pace and then flattened out. BEECH HILL needs more distance. BLUE SHOES was through early. LITTLE RAIDER raced in the first flight most of the trip and was getting to the winner. SPRING FEVER gained the lead along the backstretch, saved ground on the turns and weakened only slightly. NATOUSA raced within striking distance from the outset, moved between horses in the final furlong and, after wresting command, drew clear. TEXAS RAIN was sluggish in the first half mile and closed determinedly from the outside. GOLDEN TEMPEST hung in the final sixteenth. GENERAL CROSS raced evenly for the most part. DILLIFILLY tired. The latter raced in closest attendance along the backstretch, assumed command in the early stretch and held on tenaciously. ADAR loomed a factor a furlong out and then hung. NERVE tired.
