Big Heart Engages Blenfly, Hangover And Bright Shoes in Detroit Sprint Test Scored in Seasonal Bow at Track; Timely Story Likely Favorite in Co-Feature By DON FAIR Staff Correspondent ... DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 15. The Michigan-Ontario News Dealers Purse, a five-furlong condition race for two-year-olds, and the Philco Radio Purse at three-quarters of a mile for three-year-olds, will co-feature a well-balanced program at this Michigan mile track. The first-mentioned event attracted an overnight field of seven of the better two-year-olds quartered here, while a half-dozen quick second-year racers are scheduled to clash in the other feature, spotted sixth on the mid-week card. G and G Stables Big Heart, recent winner here, is favorably weighted at 115 pounds for the Philco Radio Purse. Jockey Robert Lee Baird, presently leading reins-man at the meeting, will ride. Big Heart, a versatile racer on any type of footing, scored here in her seasonal debut, and last year campaigned in stakes company at this track and in Chicago, posting a- "four-one-two" record in but eight starts.
