Simpson has Continued on Page Forty-Eight Dozen Three-Year-Olds Go in Debutante Purse No Return, Annette G,, Natchez Girl Compete at ThistleDown Continued from Page One entered Annette G. and Chappys Pass in the event and named to face that pair are Solar System, Gypsy Boy, Tyner, Set the Table, Wal-Dot-O, Burnt Child, Natchez Girl, Get Lost, Harrys Reward and No Return. T. Q. Preeces No Return to be ridden by Donal Bowcut may be the slight favorite in this race. He defeated several of these same horses when he dead-heated with Syl Richs Varsity on Friday afternoon. Bow-cut rode an excellent race aboard the gelded son of Equinox who was scoring for the third time this year. No Return, who only started twice as a two-year-old, won his first race of the year by six iengths at Gulfstream Park to break his maiden and then came back several weeks later to win in allowance company. Mrs. L. Voight, Jr.s Solar System won her only race over the strip when she downed Amawalk by a length at six furlongs. Her time was 1:12 flat and after breaking third she moved along the rail to wrest command and maintained her advantage under a strong ride by Charles McKee. The daughter of Air Hero had a good record compiled in Maryland before coming into this section. v Doug Davis, Jr.s Natchez Girl who was running against the best two-year-old fillies in Kentucky last season may have something to say about the outcome of the Debutante. She has been training smartly and gets into this fray with 113 pounds which will include the services of Edward Plesa. Get Lost was a winner this spring while at Laurel and could be troublesome in here. Harrys Reward and Burnt Child both have good races over the track and cannot be overlooked. The Simpson entry could also be quite formidable. The last race Chappys Pass ran was too bad to be true and Annette G. has some early speed. Chappys Pass was claimed for ,000 by Simpson from John Foster. The gelding has won at Hialeah this year.
