Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. LINWOOD HARRY moved inside to engage the leader after a quarter mile, remained in close attendance into the stretch and gradually wore down ODDS ADVANCE in the final sixteenth. The latter assumed an early lead on the outside, drew clear before a half mile, held on tenaciously through the stretch, but faltered in the final yards. GEORGE ENGEL had no mishap. STARK TWINS broke alertly, raced close to the pace for a half mile and weakened slightly. ATOMIC KISS, in close quarters soon after the start, lacked a closing rally. VERIBEST raced wide. PRINCE VILLON showed nothing. BRANDY PUNCH was unable to keep up. INSINUATION retired early. WARRIOR SANDS had no mishap. DUTCH GIFT ranged up along the inside in the stretch, was unable to menace and faltered. RED WAGON raced evenly. CHI BU was used up setting the pace. STEPPING MERRY showed brief speed. LITTLE LARK showed nothing. WHITE STUDENT showed speed from the start, drew clear after three furlongs, went very wide and continued out despite efforts of rider. LEES WAY broke alertly, was under urging to dispose of SPEED MAKER and had enough to hold KING JOE safe. The latter, under light restraint within striking distance of the pace, moved up on the outside and was challenging at the end. SPEED MAKER, close up along the inside, challenged repeatedly on the final turn and weakened. GLAMORAMA broke alertly, remained in contention for a quarter mile and weakened. WHIZ broke sluggishly, made up ground steadily along the inside, but was unable to menace. EXTRA FIVE broke slowly and showed nothing. TOYAHVALE was outrun. TEE VEE, a forward factor down the backstretch, noved into command when roused and maintained the advantage under intermittent pressure. DRYOK worked his vay up along the inside to gain a contending position after a half mile, came to the outside through the stretch ut was not good enough. TEAKWOOD assumed the lead at once, set the pace while saving ground, remained in intention after giving way, rallied mildly under late pressure but was unable to menace. OLD TOM broke alertly, dropped off the pace and was steadied until the final quarter mile, rallied mildly and closed ground to outfinish UNATTACHED. The latter assumed command soon after the start, stayed with the pace for three furlongs, then weakened steadily. TENURE, in hand and saving ground, failed to make up ground when roused.
