STAR K., well placed from the start, took command from LUCKY CHIPS during the stretch run and drew clear under brisk handling. The latter began fast, set the pace until inside the stretch, but could not stay with the winner. LITTLE DOC lacked early speed, but finished willingly under punishment. WHITE BLAZE failed to rally when set down in the drive. SPECIFIC was outrun and had no mishap. BON DURANT was never dangerous. ABSOLUTE lacked early foot. BIG DANCE showed nothing. OLD FRANK had early speed, but failed to stay. .EUGENIA could not keep up while racing on the outside. EARLY BULL galloped off three-quarters of a mile before the start, displayed brief speed in the race, then gave way. LITTLE DANNY went to the front early and, after establishing a clear lead in the early stretch, was ridden out to increase his advantage. FOXPOISE, away slowly, gradually worked way forward but could not get to the winner when set down through the stretch. DANGEROUS DAN saved ground entering the stretch, then faltered during the drive. VICKI DIANA raced wide. TOP STOCKINGS, forced wide by YANKEE MIDAS approaching the stretch, failed to recover. THESURES bolted to the outside soon after the start and could not be persevered with thereafter, due to a near broken rein. YPSI LEO showed nothing. YANKEE MIDAS had early speed, then bore out badly after three-eighths mile and lost all chance. PETITE LASSIE vas through early. CON after the start, closed determinedly, but could not reach the latter. BILLUP, away slowly, finished fast under punishment, but was unable to get to the leaders. JAMES T., forced wide entering the stretch, closed well when straightened -for the drive. CHALLENGE WITT tired after starting alertly. CABLEON could not keep up after showing early speed. EASTER DANQY tired after racing well to the final furlong. CROWN WINNER had brief speed. MIGHTY WISH, crowded back after the start, failed to recover. CABLE TONE was through early. TWINKLE STAR, outrun to the stretch, was sent to the midle of the track for the drive and, closing: strongly under punishment, disposed of BITSY-BOO in the last strides. The latter went to the front at once, bore out badly at the stretch turn while retaining command, then held on willingly but was unable to withstand the winner. FIGHTING MOORE lacked early foot but finished fast under punishment. MISS JAY JAY, bothered after the start, raced well when clear, made a good bid in the early stretch, then faltered. BLUE FAY tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. HERBS GAL had early speed. AIR MISSION was outrun. TALO MOR began slowly, DEPTH ROCKET could not keep up. COMPENSATOR was outrun and had no mishap. DUKES DUCHESS showed nothing. MAIDENS REWARD was never prominent.
