Angels Buy Lown From Cubs LOS ANGELES, Calif., June 21 UP. — The Los Angeles Angels of the Pacific Coast League today announced the purchase of right-handed pitcher Omar "Turk" Lown from the Chicago Cubs. Lown, 30, has a 0-2 record this year. Last year he won eight and lost seven for the Cubs as a reliefer.
