DeSpirito Wins on Algasir As Fourth Success on Card ROCKINGHAM PARK, Salem, N. H., June 21. — H. A. Kimballs aging but gallant Algasir came through with another solid performance this afternoon to capture the Epsom Purse from Mel-pet Stables Noch Eins by three parts of a length. Under a heady ride by Tony DeSpirito, who was up on his fourth winner of the card, the strongly supported eight-year-old son of Sir Gallahad III. returned .00. Charleston was third, a length behind the speedy Noch Eins. Like death and taxes, DeSpirito moved in unswerving fashion to annex the first three races and continue the winning style in the feature that has made him the nations leading rider. Tony returned from a weekend excursion to Aqueduct and a well-received third aboard Fascinator in the Gazelle to grab both ends of the Daily Double with Gold Quest and Gator Bait, with a pay-off of 6.40. There have been 17 odds-on winners at Rockingham since the 54-day meeting began on Memorial Day and De Spirito, the pride of Lawrence, Mass., has been up on 14 of them. . , ,
