PERIPOSE, taken in hand at the start, slipped between horses into a contending position at the half mile, then circled the top pair when punished on the turn and won rapidly going away. AIR ATTACK, steadied next to the pace, went to the front under pressure at the half mile and offered no resistance to the winner in the stretch run. SUNNYMAN "was well placed, but drifted out on the final turn and lacked a rally. COLONY PAGE raced between horses most of the distance. EXCISE TAX had no mishap.
