Monmouth Offers 25,000 For Nashua-Swaps Match MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 17. The Monmouth Park Jockey Club, through its president, Amory L. Haskell, has offered to post a purse of 25,000 for a match race between William Woodward, Jr.s, Nashua and Rex Ellsworths Swaps at the Oceanport track on any racing day between July. 30 and August 8. The entire purse would go to the winner, with the stipulation that 5,000 be contributed by the winning owner to his favorite charity. It is understood that Woodwards reaction to the proposed Monmouth match was favorable, although he has made no commitment. Ellsworth has .been non-commital.
