Stewards Rulings FAIRMOUN T PARK, Collinsville, HL, June 17. The stewards here issued the following ruling today: "Trainer Ray N. Amlung is fined 5 for failing to appear at the saliva box after the running of the eighth race en Thursday night, June 16." MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 17. The stewards here today issued the following ruling: "Jockey Robert L. Stevenson is suspended for 10 days June 19 through June 28 for careless riding in the second race June 16, 1955." DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 17. The stewards issued the following ruling here today: "Apprentice jockey Roger LeBlanc is suspended for 10 days, effective Saturday, June 18, to Monday, June 27, inclusive, for crossing the field sharply after the start of the fourth race on Wednesday, June 15, causing interference." THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, " Ohio, June 17. The ThistleDown stewards issued the following rulings-, here today: "Jockey Thomas Lattarulo is suspended 10 racing days, June 20 to June 30, inclusive, for permitting his mount, Texas Flash, to bear in after leaving the gate, thereby causing interference in the seventh race, June 16. "Jockey Jean Chalk is fined 0 for careless riding after leaving the gate in the seventh race, June 16." AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 17. The stewards here issued the following ruling dated June 16: "For failure.4o give racing room and causing interference during the stretch run, while up on his mount Burst, during the running of the second race on Wednesday, June 15, 1955, jockey Wendell Leeling is suspended for 10 racing days. Jockey Leeling will be eligible to accept mounts for July 1, 1955." RUIDOSO DOWNS, Ruidoso, N. M., June 17. The stewards issued the following ruling: Tor entering an ineligible horse, Queens Dream, in the sixth race Saturday, June 11, owner-trainer Doris Hay is fined 5." RIVER DOWNS, Cincinnati, Ohio, June 17. The stewards today issued the following ruling: "Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc., chemists for the Ohio State Racing Commission, having reported that a drug of the nature of amphetamine was found in a urine sample taken from the horse True Bruce, which finished in a dead-heat for first place in the seventh race on June 14, trainer A. B. Ciccone and -all horses owned or trained by him are hereby suspended. The following horses come under this order: Big Hoop, Hi, General, Notts Forest, Pamjon, Nejla, Chatajo, Bakers Hope and True Bruce. "Joe Pikus, a groom employed by W. J. Roby, owner of several horses trained by A. B. Ciccone, also is suspended under this order and the cases of both A. - B. Ciccone and Joe Pikus are referred to the Ohio State Racing Commission for further consideration." Under the rules the purse for the seventh race oh June 14 is re-distributed as follows: first money to Choice Pick, second money to Expressive, third money to Twenty-Five and fourth money to Bakers Hope. Wagering on the race is in no way affected. Case referred to racing commission.
