Monmouth Park Plays Host To Scribes at Buffet Dinner NEW YORK, N. Y., June 17. About 70 newsmen from the Metropolitan area were, the guests of the Monmouth Park Jockey Club at a buffet dinner in Toots Shors restaurant Friday night.. During the course of the evening, which was devoid of speeches, a film in technicolor devoted to thoroughbred racing at Monmouth and the breaking of a yearling was shown to the scribes. It was extremely well received, being hailed as one of the best films of this nature issued to date. Edward J. Brennan, Monmouths general manager, and Philip Iselin, the tracks treasurer, were hosts for the Oceanport course, along with publicity director Barker Seeleyand the latters assistants, Charley Johnson, Jimmy Raftery and Don Reed.
