Illinois-Owned Jamie Takes American Trot Championship WESTBURY, L. I., N. Y., June 17. The Springfield, Illinois-owned five-year-old Jamie came from sixth place in the stretch last night to win the mile and a quarter 5,000 American Trotting Championslup at Roosevelt Raceway. Bob Parkinson drove the Brightside Farm performer to the wire three-quarters of a length in front of Faber Hanover, the even money favorite, for his first victory in six starts this year.
