Mrs. Muriel L. Improved HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 17. Trainer Dave Hum reported that Mrs. Muriel L scratched from the Nursery Stakes Tuesday, because of a kidney ailment, much improved. Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis Stables fleet Khaled filly was the" early favorite for the five-furlong feature before she was scratched prior to race time. Hum stated he had been giving her kidney medicine since discovering the ailment late Tuesday morning and that the filly had responded well and should be back to normal very soon.
