Michigan Notes HAZEL PARK, Mich., June 1. Trainer Robert Cash arrived from the Chicago area with four head, supplementing the two already on the grounds. The string is headed by the good handicap run-, ner, Almas Heart, a candidate for Saturdays ,000 June Handicap, George Ellis was delighted with the performance of his handicap star, Rock Pilot, who led throughout to win the 0,000 Decoration Day Handicap. He reported that the five-year-old son of Petrose came out of the race in splendid style, and that hLs next engagement is to be the 0,000 Hazel Park Mile on June 8. A year ago Rock Pilot was defeated a nose in the same handicap, but atoned by the same margin on Thursday. Trainer Arthur H. Warner arrived from Canada to saddle Fleet Path in the Decoration Day Handicap, and while he was disappointed in the loss suffered by the M. J. Boylen star he hopes to make up for the defeat in the Hazel Park Mile on June 8. The five-year-old horse has been nominated lox this event, and will remain here with four stablemates until after that race. The veteran rider Claude Hooper- arrived to join the large saddle colony. Dave Ferguson, who has been spending a few days at his farm near Hot Springs, Arkansas, returned from that point and was a Friday visitor. He has several horses at the local track under trainer W. Cook. Moon Love, seven-year-old horse who has been a long-time member of the Byron H. Wise stable, found a new home after his winning performance Thursday when trainer S. W. Shapoff acquired him in the interests of C Cusmano. Cusmano, who is attempting to build up a. large string, also claimed War Doings earlier in the meeting. Trainer Arthur Bronsdon, who has been campaigning a stable of six head at Garden State Park for the O. G. Ranch, is expected here momentarily. He. has eight horses stabled on the Michigan grounds. The two-year-old winner, Grand Suspense, a highly regarded juvenile, will top the new arrivals, which also include Golden Hue, fleet three-year-old colt.
