The Shoe Earns Diploma HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 31. Swaps two-year-old full brother. The Shoe, graduated from the maiden ranks in his second try. when he raced to a decisive victory in the first race here this afternoon. The juvenile son of Klialed and Iron Maiden, handled by Willie Shoemaker for whom he was named, carried the R. C. Ellsworth silks home in front by four and a half lengths as Final Stitch finished second and Green Cover third. His time for the five panels was :58.
