Wall, Bovine in Close Battle MAUMEE DOWNS. Maumee. Ohio May 6. — Jockeys Bobby Wall and Vic Bovine are putting on a torrid battle for leading riding honors at Maumee Downs. At the conclusion of Mondays program Bovine was one in front. Wall rode two winners on Tuesday, accounting for the fifth and sixth races on the card to put him in first place~ with 31 saddle victories, one more than his rival. Bovine then came back in the final race to place him in a tie with Wall.
