The latter moved through along the inside to take . the lead leaving the backstretch and weakened nearing the end. MISS ORESTES rallied insufficiently. MARES »■ BEAU raced well placed and lacked a response when set down. JODI weakened gradually. BEIGE faltered in the drive. The others failed to attain prominence. VELOZ II. moved boldly on the final turn to reach contention, wore down OLD LANGLEY and lasted over ROMAN FAN. The latter, far back early, as usual, responded willingly when called upon and could not get up in time. OLD LANGLEY was sent up with a rush to take the lead in the early stretch and weakened in the late stages. WILD RIDE raced well placed and faltered. DAUBLEN set the pace for six furlongs and weakened when headed. AMBOR REIGH had no excuse. PARTHENON was never prominent. ALBANY SQUARE was through early. Wild Ride claimed by W J. Susini, trainer F. W. Case. Attendance, 18,195; Total Mutuel Pool, ,659,537.
