JEDU tired from his pacemaking efforts. SIR MODRED showed speed from the start and held on fairly well. ALL SHE WROTE dropped too far back in the early stages. PERTURBED tired badly. The latter loomed boldly when called upon entering the stretch and, while unable to reach the winner, was clearly best of the others. MYRTIS L. made up some ground but could not seriously threaten.
