Young Kirk Tallies Victory GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 6. — Apprentice Jimmy Kirk stepped right into papas shoes at Garden State Park Tuesday. The 17-year-old son of former rider Carson Kirk scored his first local victory on Mooring Stables Tempted. ! The horse is a daughter of Half Crown which the older Kirk used to handle in important engagements.
