GOTTA HEART, reserved to the final quarter mile, gave a good response while coming between rivals and wore down SPEEDY PAT in the late yards. The latter rallied well into the stretch, reached the front between calls in the deep stretch, tnen could not hold the winner. NO DEFEAT disposed of the early rivals to draw off on the final turn, then drifted out through the stretch and tired. FLOWER PICTURE hung nearing the end. CAPT. BOBBYDELL came outside for the stretch run and closed with good energy. LONE DESERT held a striking position along the inside from the start and lacked the necessary late response. DUN BRI tired under pressure. SUGARFOOT could not keep up. OISEAU ROUGE was going well when too late. RECAPTURE showed little. TRADE LINE could not threaten and came back lame. ANMARK held a favorable position from the outset and, giving a good response when put to strong pressure, reached the lead and held off WAR OF ROSES. The latter came through a narrow opening between the leaders in the late yards and just missed getting up. Jockey Spinale claimed foul against the winner which was disallowed. BROTHER SNOB was rallying well when he bobbled slightly nearing the wire and could not keep up with the top pair. PUTT showed good speed, then faltered in the deep stretch.
