OFF AT 1:15 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME Start good Won driving ROYAL EIGHTEEN bore in when hard ridden and. after crowding THREE QUESTIONS and BLANK DAY, wore down GLAD NEWS in the last strides but was disqualified for fouling and placed last GLAD NEWS settled into the stretch with a clear lead but was unable to withstand ROYAL EIGHTEEN. CHALME closed willingly and had no mishap. BLANK DAY, caught between GOSHEN RELIC and THREE QUESTIONS near the sixteenth mile post, failed to recover. GOSHEN RELIC raced nearest GLAD NEWS until inside the stretch drifted out during the drive and then weakened. THREE QUESTIONS was racing prominently in the stretch when forced to check during the jam caused by ROYAL EIGHTEEN and GOSHEN RELIC, then failed to recover. Scratched— 2021 Jam Great Planet. OUR SWEET WENDY raced nearest COMETS GLOW from the start and, responding to strong handling during the stretch run, disposed of the latter and won going away. COMETS GLOW, away fast settled into the stretch with a good lead but was not good enough for the winner. WATKINS JOY saved ground entering the stretch but could not get to the leaders. GOOD SIGN tired during the drive. BEBBYS BABE had no mishap. PUZZLER bore out early and was unable to reach serious contention. WILLYS PAL raced wide. , NYACH could not keep up. ROYAL TREAT moved up fast entering the stretch and after disposing of the leaders, drew clear while ridden out. CHAMPAGNE MISS raced with FLYING EDUCATION to the final furlong but was unable to hold the winner. FLYING EDUCATION, away alertly, gave a good performance and had no excuse. DAVENPORT lacked racing room during the drive. PURE SILVER raced wide. MARSH LIGHT could not keep up. CLARA MAROT was never dangerous. PERSIAN MISS showed nothing. IRMA LA DOUCE, forced to check immediately after the start, was unable to enter serious contention. HASTY SHOPPER stumbled at the break and, brushing IRMA LA DOUCE, lost her rider. Start good Won driving EASY FLIER, outrun early and racing wide, was forced beyond the middle of the track when MELODY MAGIC swerved during the stretch run but disposed of the leaders ; in the ast sixteenth SET AN EXAMPLE moved up boldly entering the stretch, was caught between MELODY MAGIC and EASY FLIER during the drive and her rider was unable to do her complete justice when near the finish AULA ITMiE, far back to the last quarter mile, closed fast on the extreme outside. MELODY MAGIC stumbled immediately after the start, recovered and entered the stretch with a good lead but bore out badly in the drive and lost all chance. HASTY ADMIRAL made the pace until challenged by MELODY MAGIC and then gave way. ALAMO could not keep up. Overweight— Set an Example, 1 pound. Hasty Admiral claimed by B. Boyar, trainer H. MIGHTY SO reached the lead between calls soon after the start and, drifting out during the run to the stretch and early in the drive, gave way to GULIZAR, then reached the lead near the sixteenth mile post and drew clear while ridden out. COMFORT, away fast, dropped back after the start and raced evenly to the stretch, responded readily during the drive, but was not good enough for the winner. GUILZAR went to the front when MIGHTY SO bore out and, after establishing a good lead in the stretch, failed to stay. OWENDELLE lacked early foot. VATERNISH and SWEET THUNDER had no mishaps. DEAD INDIAN, away alertly, dropped back after the start and raced evenly to the stretch, moved to the outside for the drive and. closing fast under strong handling, disposed of BRONZE CLOUD in the last strides. The latter took command from SERCIAL during the stretch run but was unable to withstand the top one. BIGGER H BETTER could not get to the leaders during the drive. SERCIAL made the pace until challenged by BRONZE CLOUD and then weakened. SPRING TRAINING could not keep up. MY SON TOM shewed nothing. Bronze Cloud claimed by B. Boyar, trainer H. Jacobson. BALLY ACHE, well placed from the outset, moved between horses during the stretch run and, responding to brisk handling, won going away. TUFANHAI held on willingly in a sharp effort but was not good enough for the winner. PROGRESSING, outrun to the stretch, finished fast but was unable to reach the leaders. IRA EAKER took an early lead and made the pace until inside the stretch but gave way when challenged by BALLY ACHE. COACH WALLY lacked early speed. PENOWA RULLAH began slowly and r?ced wide.
