Arcaro to Receive Award NEW YORK, May 6— Jockey Eddie Arcaro was named winner of the New York Newspaper Guilds annual Page One award for sports today by a committee of sports writers "in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the world of sports." Arcaro will receive a special citation and a "stick of type" at the Page One ball at the Hotel Astor on June 26. The panel said they selected Arcaro for the honor because of "his consistent performance as a jockey and his high standard of sportsmanship."
