Piarulli to Train Rico Tesio PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 6. — Trainer Joseph Piarulli, although busy in New York at the moment with the stakes winning Vertex, will be the trainer for the Briardale Farms Rico Tesio for the Preak-ness, it was revealed today. Piarulli is expected here early next week to supervise the final preparations of the Royal Charger colt for his engagement in the 83d running of the classic.
