I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES Warren Wright was at Washington Park Friday afternoon for the first time since his Count Morse won the Great Western Handicap several weeks ago. Another prominent breeder at the track Friday afternoon was Henry Knight of Chicago, who maintains a farm in Kentucky. Among the out-of-town newspapermen to arrive Friday for the dual coverage of the American Derby and the heavyweight championship fight were Bill Keefe, sports editor of the Times-Picayune and Harry Martinez of the New Orleans States. In a private transaction at Washington Park Friday R. T. Watts purchased the two-year-old Triplane from H. P. Headley.
