t AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES f s s J. H. Ward, who has several horses here, was granted a trainers license. He retired in 1929 and turned the horses owned by the Everglade Stable over to his son Sherrill. Max Hirsch left for Chicago to saddle the King Ranch stables Dawn Play in the American Derby. Jockey Albert Morgan arrived from the West and joined the stable that J. S. Ward has in training here. Condition books for the Fort Erie meeting were distributed by Francis Dunne. George Conway will ship the Glen Riddle Stable to Delaware Park and then go to Saratoga for that meeting. Luke OBrien of the Empire City Association will allot stable room for that meeting after conferring with Jack Campbell.
