CHATTER WRACK, under a hustling ride, tired after a half mile, but held the others safe. COMMISSION raced wide and lost additional, ground by swerving. ALLANWOOD showed little. PUDDIN quit. WHA HAE, away fast and restrained when unable to outrun PANIC RELIEF, circled the latter and opened up a good lead soon after reaching the final quarter but was under severe pressure the last eighth and had little left. BRIGHT LIGHT, away poorly, worked his way up gradually the first five-eighths, then tired, but managed to stall off WAR GLORY. The latter raced very wide and, slow to respond to urging, rallied in the final eighth and was strongest of all in the late stages. BON CENTIME was overmatched. TRANSMUTABLE quit. The latter, forced to race wide was under steady restraint for a half mile and, closing gamely under strong handling was slowly getting to the winner. .FLYING BREEZE, unable to get through approaching the turn, was under severe pressure after about three-eighths and tired in the last eighth but outstayed MY ELSIE. The latter straddled one of the stall walls when she reared while at the post, quickly dropped out of it after beginning fast and tired after moving up in the stretch. SIR STEEL began Very slowly. BYRDINE, far back for five-eighths, began to improve her position when racing wide on the stretch turn, was under mild hand pressure in the final three-sixteenths and, closing resolutely, was up in the final stride. TONEY BOY, placed outside the stalls for the start took command easily and, aided by excellent rating, held on well but failed to last, TWO SONS, well up from the start, closed with determination and was m close quarters between the winner and runner-up near the finish. DANDY JAY, qn the lnsidjj throughout, was much used up in forcing the early pace, yet held on in creditable fashion. RED ROGUE had no mishaps. SIR BOSTON was badly outrun. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES.
