T. M. DOYLE TO TRAIN C. W. GUBBINS STABLE HOMEWOOD, 111., June 18. Thomas M. Doyle, well-known turfman and breeder, who retired from the turf several years ago to give his time and attention to the breeding branch of the sport, has applied for a trainers license under the Illinois Racing Commission and will condition the horses of Charles W. Gubbins. In the Gubbins string at present are Lauerman, Salteo, Kitty Girl, China Boy and Cannons Roar. Doyle formerly trained the Joliet Stable.
