FRENCH DERBY TO CLAIRVOYANT The Prix du Jockey Club, which is run over a course of about one and one-half miles, at Chantilly, had a value this year of 300,000 francs, about 3,000. The first two horses to finish were not. raced as two-year-olds, but showed impressively earlier this year. Clairvoyant was first in, with Actor and Galloway following in the order named. The winner was bred and owned by the Argentinian Edouardo Martinez de Hoz. By the French Derby winner, Mon Talisman, I the colt is out of Crestona, by Durbar II.
