! AGAWAM TURF NOTES T 3 i, J. Powers, who has the. useful horses Red Roamer and Orphan Lass at Suffolk Downs, has requested stabling room for his stable and will be accommodated at Agawam Park, H. Neusteter reported that the two-year-old Ambrosia, a member of his stable, was stricken with paralysis and was destroyed. Paul Sanford is making the riding engagements of apprentice G. Cuscianna who is affiliated with the Joe Pepp stable. Donald Hay, director of the mutu el depart-, ment at Agawam Park, will; leave, over the week-end for Delaware Park to join Herman Prank who will be in charge of the plant at that point in an inspection of the track. I Tom Sullivan arrived from Montreal in search of racing material for racing on the Quebec circuit. Track conditions caused wholesale scratch ing from the eight .races. Friday, but fortunately enough starters remained in the events to furnish interesting racing for the patrons. Owner H. Neusteter will leave two three-year-olds and a two-year-old the property of H. H. Horkheimer at Agawam Park, while a draft is shipped to Delaware Park for racing. Jockey J. Mastrianni riding here is under contract to Fred Coppa who has several horses here in charge of Joe Gorga. H. Anquita is expected here with Ihe Chilean sprinter, Altlante, which will be placed in charge of trainer J. Hernandez.
