I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES I s s C. J. Martin is saddling the Blue Ridge Farm horses at Washington Park temporarily. Otto Bagley, trainer of the stable, was seriously injured while en route to look after a division of the stable at Detroit. Because of his unruly behavior while at the post for the first race Friday, the Washington Park stewards barred Crowned Head from racing for the remainder of the local meeting. E. Paul Waggoner and his: .nephew, William T. Waggoner II., are here for a visit that will include the American Derby tomorrow and the heavy weight boxing championship Tuesday. Bud Burmester preceded them. It is likely that the three horses George Walsh has here for his brother Raoul Walsh will be shipped to California, leaving in a few days tagged for the new Del Mar track. ":ey are Sunset Trail U., Grand Manitou and Bachelors Bower. Max Hirsch today took out a trainers license and will saddle Dawn Play for her American Derby engagement tomorrow. B.. B. Williams, trainer of Mrs. W. H. Fursts Over The Top, said that the fever which the colt had yesterday has left, and that he probably would be a starter in the American Derby tomorrow.
