Fourteen of the most prominent two-year-old, fillies in this section of the Blue Grass State were named in the overnight entries to compete in the fifty-fifth running of the ,500 added Clip-setta Stakes at Latonia, tomorrow afternoon. The starters represent eleven different interests, with only one entry named for the stake, which consists of three of Mrs. A. L. Taylors large crop of juveniles. Top weight honors of 116 pounds are shared by four of the probable contestants, which include C. R. Thompsons Noticing, F. P. Letelliers Fredalou, J. W. Parrishs Genevra M., and William E. Smiths Kitty Baker. Comprising the rest of the field for the five and a half furlongs dash are Masked Plane, Gold Publicity, Fair, Strut, Bindy, Fine Mint, Cloud o Dust, Eponine, Shining Heels and Patrona. RENEWAL OFCLIPSETTA Continued from first nage. day night and Thursday, track superintendent Charles Nolte was optimistic of his chances of whipping the course into good shape by the time the Clipsetta field is summoned to the post. There is a possibility the track will be fast unless there is more rain between now and post time for the race. Among those that will go out in quest of the historic stake fixture which have earned victories during the current Latonia meeting are Fredalou, which is likely to share favoritism with Eponine, which will be making her initial appearance of the season here: Genevra M., Kitty Baker, Fair and Shining Heels. Although trainer Taylor has named three of his wifes eligibles for the Clipsetta, he stated he intended sending only two of them postward, which virtually insures a field of thirteen for the rich prize, which will, in that event have a gross value of .,760, of which amount 00 goes to the second horse, 50 to the third horse, and 25 for the fourth.
