SHOOTS 42 5 -YARD HOLE IN ONE WINSTON-SALEM, N. C, April 13. George Cardwell, local amateur golfer, made what is believed to be a new distance record for a hole-in-one when he made an ace on the 425-yard ninth hole at the Hillcrest course.
