f BOWIE TURF NOTES $ D. J. Sullivan and P. E. Fitzgerald -will ship from here to Narragansett Park on Friday. Frank Garrett transferred the horses that he had at Pimlico to Havre de Grace during the morning hours. J. P. Turner will accept entries here on Friday for the opening day at Havre de Grace. Jockey J. Oros, leading rider at this meeting, will ride the first day at Havre de Grace and then leave for Keeneland Park for that meeting. Francis Dunne distributed condition books for Narragansett Park. The strong wind which swept over the course last night dislodged the three-furlong post The missing marker was replaced during the morning hours. Greg Johnson, who for the last two weeks has been accepting stable applications for Charles Town, forwarded 1,000 applications to general manager Al Boyle. Jockey R. Donoso left for New York to report to trainer James Fitzsimmons, who has the Belair Stud and Wheatley Stable horses at Aqueduct. The horses owned by the Short Brook Farm were shipped to New York. Jimmy Jones arrived from Florida and, after witnessing the running of Thursdays program, left for Jamaica to supervise the final installation of the camera.
