Greg Johnson, who for the last two weeks has been accepting stable applications for Charles Town, forwarded 1,000 applications to general manager Al Boyle. Jockey R. Donoso left for New York to report to trainer James Fitzsimmons, who has the Belair Stud and Wheatley Stable horses at Aqueduct. The horses owned by the Short Brook Farm were shipped to New York. Jimmy Jones arrived from Florida and, after witnessing the running of Thursdays program, left for Jamaica to supervise the final installation of the camera.
